Shakesbeer Brewing Co.

Shakesbeer is a brewing company that creates craft beers inspired by Shakespearian characters. For this project, I created 4 beer labels, coasters, and a website.

I created each label to represent a different character in Macbeth: King Duncan, Lady Macbeth, Macbeth, and the Three Witches. I combed through vintage illustrations to piece together an custom collage for each label that parallels the unsettling and weird tones of the show itself.

I wanted Shakesbeer to feel like a classy yet unique craft beer brand, so I brought in a sleek black and metallic colored color scheme, paired with vintage wordmark inspired type. My target audience for this brand is academics with a soft spot for a good Shakespearian tale.
